Welcome to Sugarfoot! Gainesville’s hidden in plain sight neighborhood! This quiet sleepy neighborhood is right in the middle of everything Gainesville has to offer. 2 miles (5 min) from UF Campus, 3 miles (8 min) from downtown nightlife and Butler Town Center, our retail and restaurant district! Sugarfoot offers such a unique experience. From the moment you drive in you can feel the calmness come over you. The busyness of our bustling college town stops as soon as you see the large oaks hugging this quiet neighborhood. We have miles of walking trails, lots of peaceful wildlife, community garden, Green Anchors Park and Clear Lake. The neighborhood is eclectic with its mid century and 1960 homes. The Suite is right on the edge of a big walking trail that can take you to our local neighborhood restaurants, food truck and Latin food market where you can grab fresh veggies. We also have a Farmers Market truck that brings all of the local favorite farm fresh produce along with tasty baked goodies on weekends. Walk across Newberry road opposite the entrance to Sugarfoot where you can eat and play in the Royal Park Plaza. Sushi, coffee, smoothies, ice cream, korean bbq, Sports bar, movies and much more at your finger tips. Fitness centers are located 2 min in either direction. Gainesville Health and Fitness west and Baileys Powerhouse gym east.
